And so soccer was awesome.
I guess the previous post didn't do justice to the amount of joy and excitement and the atmosphere at the kallang stadium on saturday! :)
Leading up to the match was already crazy. Went past kallang stadium at 6pm, it was already a sea of red!
Match was at 8pm!
So anyway went to Alfred's brithday for awhile, felt really bad had to leave early cause of the match man. Sorry dude. Anyway Happy 21st Birthday man!
Ok, so we rushed down to the stadium to meet Fiona and got the tickets. It was super packed la, its even worst then Phuture in december man.
The atmosphere was insane! 50,000 screaming fans, shouting Butok. Jeering and shit. Super funny la.
I was whistling and shouting Butok all. Haha it was fucking funny!
After when SIngapore won, I was dancing and jumping around with QY. I even went up and cheered with the muds. It was crazy la. Haha
Its gona be crazy again come wednesday! I can't wait!! :)

Anyway went to NP to watch NUS floorball semis. Awesome la, Squid played very well and looking so good as usual. Wei scored a goal! Well done girl! :)
NUS is in the finals now! Alright!!!!!
Met Ravin and Chethan there. Great company la. After that went to visit Junren. It has been so long since we last met man. Sigh, it really saddens me to see him so seriously injured. Been friends for like eons man, at least about 10years. Still remember I met him at Chinablack and we took a cab home, and we chatted under my block for an hour plus. Haha. We were like long lost friend who had so much to catch up.

Training was hell today. I thought I was back to days in BMT. Haha

Life as a college student in ACJC was awesome. Somehow I wish I could be transported back in time. Sigh. Now looking back, I miss the times spent there with everyone.

Where running from classrooms to classrooms was the norm.
Jacking the teacher and peers seems to be the funniest thing on earth.

Clubbing was the in thing and the thing to be seen doing.
Meeting people was the social norm.
Watching the show in 2006 as when it was I first watched in 2004, it was a totally different feeling. Education system may not be the same anymore, people may look different, cultures maybe different, but one thing certain that some aspects of JC life will be the same. Love triangles, first impression, being at the coolest parties, prom night, late night conversation. Its still is happening. I doubt things like these will ever change. At least I hope it doesn't :)
Watching it after I've left school at turn 21 I began to understand the show from an adult point of view.A person who truly misses school so much that they will sacrifice anything just to be at the point in time with the same people all over again. Its like I'm seeing the place where everything was perfect, the people, the environment everything. This is in comparison to the harsh reality of the working world.
Watching the show as a student then, was just like watching my seniors leave the school. I see some of me in them. But I say again, some. As a student whom is still enjoying the moment of being in school, I take things for granted, thinking that it will always last. I will still enjoy the company of my closest friends in school. Little did I know it all will be taken away from me and I will be like a fish out of the water struggling for dear life. You realise the mistakes you make can be really costly, in some cases your life. Yup, you're no more sheltered and under the impression you will not do anything to break the law. Because, sometimes you will, no matter how goody 2 shoes you are.
No more chances, you learn from your mistakes after you're being punish.
So, it ain't a perfect world afterall. Anyway, who ever said the world was perfect, or even fair?
God, I'm dreaming again. Wake up ash.

Actually after much thought, my 21st birthday isn't that bad after all. To start it off, I had my first MMA sparring, full contact man. Though I ended up with a swollen neck and a light abrasion, it was nothing much. I manage to end the round off well almost getting the armbar unfortunately I pulled his glove off his hand. Haha
And he is huge man. 85-90kg of solid muscles. Had a tough time taking him down to the ground man. and his barage of punches threw me off guard. Haha
Then there was the party. Though there weren't many people but I hope all of them enjoyed themselves. it was great seeing all of you guys again. Serious :)
And the encouragement you guys gave me were priceless.
I wana thank everyone for their presents! It has been eons since I last receive a Birthday present from friends. The brothers were awesome la! they gave me a punching bag! Fucking cool Thanks Rehan Sunil Justin (The Mastermind) Charles and Qingyao!
The rest who brought alcohol and stuff for the party thank you thank you I just can't thank you all enough. The Citiphone people, thank you for your present too! :) I love it!

Dragged my lazy ass for training today. Had been sleeping the whole day man. Suddenly as I was outside the gym, I see like thousands of shoes at the gym, ok im exxagerating. but there were loads of shoes n slippers. I always thought monday was very slow.
So as I walked up the stairs I sort of guessed there were people there filming cause of the equipment. Anyway, passed Darren back his stuff, and he asked me if it was a big hit. I was like not really cause people were too scared to play! Haha, which was true la. Haha. so there was this girl standing there too and she said thats a nice game. I thought she was talking to Darren so I said yeah softly.
As I walked to the toliet to change, suddenly I turned back. OMG! I suddenly realised it was Melody Chen!!!! Haha
Shes hot!! Dressed in hot shorts and sports bra. Haha Hot stuff la. She has been my idol since the Teenage textbook days. She was there to do a documentry. Haha
Shes really friendly and all. I had to take this opportunity to tell her how much I love her show, The teenage Textbook movie, so when there was a chance I just told her I really enjoyed the show alot and even though its a long time back I still love it. Haha she was like oh thank you thank you. haha
Great girl la she is :)
I miss JC. Sigh, the movie the songs all reminded me of my JC days. Ok I shall stop here if not I will be rambling on and on.

Had my birthday party on 6th Jan. Well I wouldn't say it was fantastic but it was great seeing all my friends again.
Friends from AC, Pris's friends, my army friends, citiphone friends its great to see you guys again. Even though some of them didn't come but still at least I spent my 21st birthday with my friends rather then a quiet one just like any other years.
Haha, it was the usual talking cock among different groups, I just felt abit bad that the groups didn't get to mix but oh well, it was alright.
The indian poker was funny and the chess game too. haha, too bad not many people wanted to play the game till the end if not it would be really fun man.
The indian poker and the l word was really fun too haha. Awesome la.

The guys came over to my place last night to watch socccer.
Awesome la! I love hanging with the brothers. its like even though its a small gatherin we have so much fun.
This time we didn't drink till we got drunk cause Yang have to be back in camp the next day and wes drove so yup.
Nonetheless it was a funny day filled with justin's nonsense. Haha
Finally opened my Chivas 18 but I must say I'm quite disappointed with it. Haha
Maybe caused yesterday none of us really wanted to drink cause Manu drew.
Sigh.

Yesterday was Jaime last day at Citibank. She will be starting school tomorrow at CJC. Exciting :)
I still remember how excited I was for my first day in ACJC. Woke up damn early to bathe, gel my hair, ensuring my uniform looks great. I wasn't gona let anything spoil my first day of school.
It was great! Its different when there's girls in school. Haha
So anyway, its sad that we only got to know Jaime better towards the end of her work term. We are all gona miss her. Shes like the bubbly little girl in the office always talking loudly, bouncing around. My god, just like a little girl as Kok Wee put it. Haha She would always be seen bouncing and hopping around. Haha, I feel so young being around with her, but at times I feel really old too. Haha
And of course the day when I accidentally called her sister, cause I just couldn't believe that she's borned in 1990! Its like a toally different era. Haha Anyway from that day she began to call me sister too. Haha Interesting :)
I'm going to miss the people that I met in Citibank when I leave at the end of january. I doubt I will stay as a CPO. Its just too much work for a measely sum of 8bucks an hour. Its like a regular receiving an nsf officer pay.
Sigh. Maybe I just have too high hopes for myself.
Anyway, it has been great working in Citibank though initially I really wanted to quit cause of certain people there. But as I got to know most of the people there better, work becomes enjoyable and I love going to work in the morning. Hehe
Life in CitiPhone on a public holiday is just awesome la. Everyone's playing carding and slacking. The people next to us were actually playing cards mahjong ! Haha Fucking slack la
Anyway sister, take care in JC. Hope you have loads and loads of fun! We are all gona miss your loud voice!! Hope to see you around and maybe someone will actually organise a Citiphone Outing Haha
Sigh, I can't bear to leave Citiphone. Somehow I feel quite attached to the place already. Talking cock witht he people around me, answering angry calls, sneaking out for short little breaks sigh.
