=Pride Lives On=
When he came out, it was all so different. The music wasn't the familiar tune we were all so used to hearing. Everyone was complaining, I was bitching like a bitch.
However, that calm look on his face, there was no doubt he was the same person who captured our hearts. The humility he shows, the respect he was for his opponent, not a single sign of arrogance on his face.
But....
He had a tall task.
I was on the edge of my seat because for the first time I was watching a MMA event live on the internet. Ah yes, the wonders of modern technology. The bell rang, they touched gloves and then....
Bang. He went for a jumping left hook, clinched, landed an uppercut and continued to be all over Tim. His fists was coming from all direction. I was screaming and screaming and jumping and jumping on my seat, on my bed.....I was going crazy. Tim fell to the mat and he took his back sunk in a choke and that was all she wrote. Everything happened in a mere 36 seconds.
Fedor has done it.
Critics were silence in that short time frame. Pride will always live on.
My heart was still pounding. I was so happy cause all those UFC mma wannabes finally see the real MMA, the MMA that has been going on in Japan for the past decade.
Yes, I'm still sore about Pride being totally demolish by the UFC bastards.
Don't worry, the Japanese will be back, and soon you will realised you can never beat them.
